About Speakermania
 Camille
Kooi (Koo-Wee) has been active in the speaking
industry for nearly 10 years. She owns and operates
Speakermania, a speaker management company specializing
in sales lead management. She has worked with
dozens of leading speakers in the U.S. and Canada.
Prior to taking her entrepreneurial leap, she
worked for the National Speakers Association
as the manager of membership services, where
she oversaw the Professional Experts Groups,
NSA’s Chapters and the Membership Department.
Her multifaceted position at NSA let her explore
the unique industry of speaking professionals
from a personal, professional and educational
standpoint. She oversaw a staff of four, whose
main charge was to keep the then-4,000 association
members happy. Camille formed many personal relationships
with the nation’s finest experts, and their
entrepreneurial spirit rubbed off on her. The
rest, as they say, is history.
Prior to joining NSA, she worked in the restaurant
industry and held various positions within the
restaurants.
Camille graduated from Arizona State University, with a B.A. in Communications
and an emphasis in Interpersonal and Intercultural Communication. She lives
with her husband, Jeff, and their children, Aviana and Roman, in Gilbert,
Ariz..
